How to Register an MC Markets Account? Email, Google, and Web3 Wallet — Three Ways

Introduction

The thing people dread most when signing up for a trading platform for the first time is a cumbersome process. MC Markets offers three ways to register — there's no right or wrong, only which one best fits your habits.

1. Email Registration: The Most Traditional Path

When you register with email, the system sends a one-time password (OTP) to your inbox; enter the code and you're done. Every subsequent login is verified via an email OTP — you don't set a password, so there's no such thing as a “stolen password.”

Best for: people who are used to email logins and want their trading account kept completely separate from their wallet or social identity.

2. Sign in with Google: Done in One Tap

Register and log in with one tap using your existing Google account; identity verification is handled entirely by Google, making the process very fast.

One important reminder: before using this method, make sure your Google account itself has two-step verification enabled — because it effectively becomes the key to your trading account.

3. Direct Web3 Wallet Connection: Your Address Is Your Identity

Connect your Web3 wallet directly and verify via a wallet signature — no email or social account needed. Major wallets such as MetaMask, OKX Wallet, and 1inch Wallet are supported; the connection page has a built-in search, so just type the wallet name to find it.

Best for: crypto-native users who conduct on-chain activity mainly through a wallet and want their platform identity tied to an address they fully control.

FAQ

Q: Is it safe without a password?

A: A one-time code is harder to steal than a fixed password — it's different each time and valid only for a short window. On top of that, we strongly recommend enabling 2FA right after registering to form a double layer of protection. See “How to Secure Your MC Markets Account” for details.

Q: If I register with a wallet, do I still need to link an email?

A: We recommend it. Linking an email unlocks security features such as 2FA, adding an extra layer of protection to your account.
